U16 women's national team: international matches against the Czech Republic in Selb

The U16 women's national team starts the new season with two international matches against the Czech Republic. Both teams will meet in the NETZSCH Arena in Selb on Saturday, September 14th, 2019, at 14.00:15 p.m. and on Sunday, September 2019th, 11.00, at XNUMX:XNUMX a.m.

The responsible U16 Young Talent national coach Daniel Bartell nominated a young team for the matches. Only seven players from the 2004 year group are in the squad, and he will have to do without last season's top scorer, Annabella Sterzik, who is already mainly strengthening the U18 women's national team, and Svenja Voigt, who is spending a year abroad in North America. In addition to the nine players from the 2005 year group, three of whom will be playing their first international matches, six players from the 2006 year group will be making their debut.

Most recently, the Czech team secured third place at the highlight of the season, the European Cup in Pribram, while the DEBselection took fifth place.
