The “NHL Coaching Clinic” coaching course on September 29, 2019 Berlin gets prominent support. Don Nachbaur (former assistant coach of the Los Angeles Kings), Rob Cookson (former assistant coach of the Ottawa Senators, Calgary Flames and Team Canada) and national coach Toni Söderholm will be speakers at the event, which is part of the “NHL Global Series Challenge”.
The course is run in cooperation with the German Ice Hockey Federation (DEB), the National Hockey League (NHL) and the NHL Coaches' Association and announced its topics at the beginning of September. All A, B and C coaches are eligible to participate. The participation fee is 120,00 euros - the price includes the 1-day training and a ticket to attend the game Eisbären Berlin against the Chicago Blackhawks. A total of 40 trainers can take part in the training. Registration takes place via the Registration form for training courses.
Karl Schwarzenbrunner, national trainer for science and training: “The NHL Coaching Clinic proved to be a great success last year. At that time, 40 trainers took part in the event in Cologne. After the lectures, there was already the opportunity to exchange ideas with the trainers in small groups. We want to promote this exchange again this year, which is why we are very pleased to welcome three top-class trainers and speakers to the event: Don Nachbaur, Rob Cookson and Toni Söderholm.”
