First tournament for the U18 women in the 2019/20 season

U18 women’s national team travels to Japan / Busch: “Nominations due to good performances in the summer”

The U18 women's national team heads to Tomakomai (Japan) early in the season. There she will meet the teams from Switzerland and Slovakia as well as hosts Japan as part of a 4-nation tournament. The tournament is part of the “Euro Hockey Tour” tournament series that started last year. The German colors are represented by three goalkeepers, eight defenders and eleven strikers.

The German team starts in Munich on Sunday, August 18th and lands in Sapporo 16 hours later. From there you take the bus to Tomakomai, about an hour away. There is a friendly against Japan on August 20th at 17.00 p.m. (CET + 8). After a day of rest the opens DEB-Selection then on August 22nd at 13.00:8 p.m. (CET + 24) the tournament with the game against Switzerland. We also integrate one or two U16 national players to give them the opportunity to gain experience at U18 level.
