The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) started the new season with two “Development Camps” including German participation.

The Germans traveled the following week U16 national players Roman Kechter, Matthias Bittner, Moritz Elias, Leo Hafenrichter and Rayan Bettahar as well as goalkeeping coach Jan Kamenik and U16 national coach Thomas Schädler to Vierumäki (Finland).
