The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) started the new season with two “Development Camps” including German participation.

The Germans traveled the following week U16 national players Roman Kechter, Matthias Bittner, Moritz Elias, Leo Hafenrichter and Rayan Bettahar as well as goalkeeping coach Jan Kamenik and U16 national coach Thomas Schädler to Vierumäki (Finland). They took part from July 6th to 13th, 2019 2019 IIHF Hockey Development Camp part. Almost 300 players from over 50 different nations traveled to Finland for the IIHF program.
