Start of the season for the U18 women's national team

Two weeks after the women's national team and U16 women's national team completed their first courses in Füssen, the U18 women are also starting the new season. From July 17th to 21st, 2019, U18 women's national coach Franziska Busch's team will meet at the federal base in Füssen. Four goalkeepers, eleven defenders and 13 strikers are taking part in the measure.

The team is invited onto the ice twice a day and continues to complete numerous athletic units and performance tests.

Franziska Busch, U18 women’s national coach: “We are pleased that the U18 women’s national team season is now officially starting and that we are meeting again after a long time. The highlight of this season is undoubtedly the home World Cup in Füssen. We will use the next few months to prepare ourselves as best we can. The summer course in Füssen serves to check the development and athleticism of the players and to integrate new players. In addition to the tactical basics, we will also focus on working with the players individually on their technical skills.”
