U16 women with courses in Füssen

The U16 women's national team will meet from July 4th to 7th, 2019 and from August 8th to 11th, 2019 at the federal base in Füssen. For the team of U16 women's national coach Florian Neumayer, these are the first two courses of the new season. For the first measure in Füssen, Neumayer nominated five goalkeepers, 11 defenders and 13 strikers. The screening course consists of on-ice measures, the athletics check of the U16 national players and a lecture on the topic of “doping in sport”.

U16 women’s national coach Florian Neumayer: “The two screening camps in July and August are eagerly awaited by the coaching staff. Important top performers left the U16 women's national team at the end of April after the European Cup due to age. This gap must now be closed as best as possible. For the players born in 2004 and 2005, this means that they have to take on more responsibility. It is also important to integrate the best players from the 2006 class as quickly as possible. We currently have a total of almost 50 players in our notebook that we would like to watch during the courses so that we can have a powerful team on the ice for the first games against the Czech Republic in Selb in September.”
