60 girls between the ages of 7 and 12 took part in this year's Global Girls Game in Bad Kissingen. Under the observation of women's national coach Christian Künast, U18 women's national coach Franziska Busch and the DEB-Women’s representative Marion Herrmann secured the victory in the German version on Sunday, February 17, 2019, with a score of 5:1.
The Global Girls Game took place in a total of 40 countries. At the event organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF, girls of all ages from all over the world played the entire weekend to determine a global winner between Team Blue and Team White. Team Blue not only won in Germany, but also came out on top overall - the final score was 137:135.
