Top team Beijing: 22-man squad for international matches against Switzerland

National coach Toni Söderholm has nominated 22 players for the first two international matches for Top Team Beijing. The U24/U25 team will face Switzerland on February 5th (19.30:6 p.m.) in Memmingen and on February 19.30th (XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.) in Bietigheim. These are the first two international matches that take place under the direction of national coach Toni Söderholm.

From January 14th to 16th, 2019, the Top Team Beijing met for the first time in Dingolfing as part of a training event. Of the players who took part in this U24/U25 camp, 18 players are also on the ice in Memmingen and Bietigheim. The squad is completed by Mirko Pantkowski, Markus Eisenschmid and Janik Möser from the Adler Mannheim and Kai Wissmann from the Eisbären Berlin.

Eight of the nominated players have already played for the men's national team. Above all, silver hero Jonas Müller (28 international matches), Frederik Tiffels (28), Stefan Loibl (13) and Markus Eisenschmid (10) are among the experienced players in national coach Toni Söderholm's squad. Furthermore, Fabio Wagner (8), Fabio Pfohl (3), Phil Hungerecker (3) and Lean Bergmann (3) have already played for the national team.

Behind the gang, national coach Toni Söderholm receives support from a Finnish compatriot: Petteri Väkiparta (Schwenninger Wild Wings) will take on the role of assistant coach during the two international matches.
