U16 women start in the Skoda Cup

The U16 women's national team will take part from 27th to 29th. December took part in the traditional Skodacup in Dresden.
In the Saxon state capital, coach Florian Neumayer's team will meet the male U15 Young Talent from Krefelder EV, EV Weiden and ES Weißwasser in the preliminary round. Each game lasts 2x17 minutes.
Hosts are in the other group ESC Dresden, the Mannheim ERC, RT Bad Nauheim and the Czech representative HC Slovan Usti nad Labem.
Last year they achieved DEB-Girls reached the final and were narrowly defeated by Usti nad Labem. It will be very difficult to repeat this success this time, as seven regular players in Füssen are preparing for the World Championships in Radenthein (AUT) with the U18 team.
Coach Florian Neumayer: “The tournament in Dresden is the last opportunity for some players to qualify for the two season highlights, the four-nation tournament in February in Selb and the European Cup tournament in April in Brno (CZE). The girls should approach the task with the appropriate motivation. In addition, there are three players in the squad who will be making their debut in the DEBjersey."
