Success is an award for everyone's hard work DEB, which was carried out at all levels before and during the Olympic Games. We are really looking forward to the evening together with the other great athletes.”
Also take DEB-President Franz Reindl and DEBSports director Stefan Schaidnagel took part in the event.
DEB-President Franz Reindl: “The 2018 ice hockey sports year was marked by incredible national and international highlights. The fact that the national team is now among the illustrious candidates for Team of the Year thanks to its sensational silver medal win is a source of great pride.”
DEB-Sports Director Stefan Schaidnagel: “It is a great honor and at the same time an award for us to be nominated as Team of the Year. But it is also a well-deserved reward for a long preparation period, which was rewarded with the excellent result of winning a silver medal. We hope that this will bring ice hockey further into the spotlight. The diverse feedback after the Olympic success shows that the team sport of ice hockey and the sport itself can contribute a lot to society in terms of positive experiences.”
