The Deutscher Eishockey-Bund (DEB) is organized in cooperation with the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) as part of the 2019 IIHF U20 Ice Hockey World Championship Div.I Trainer Symposium. On Thursday, the 13 December 2018, the topics will be discussed in the event hall of the Sparkasse Füssen Big data, training load, didactics and team management in the young talent and senior sectors treated. For the first time, a coaching symposium will be held as part of the U20 Ice Hockey World Championship.
Well-known speakers such as Dr. Christoph Rottensteiner (Head of the Firstbeat company for the German-speaking region), psychologist and sports psychologist Dr. Tom Kossak, psychologist Christopher Mächel, diagnostician Ben Schulze, Kevin McLaughlin (USA Hockey) and the former sports director of the Austrian Ice Hockey Association (ÖEHV), Alpo Suhonen, are available. National coach Marco Sturm and national coach for science and education Karl Schwarzenbrunner will also speak at the symposium.
