The EHC Nürnberg 1980 eV summer camp “Learn to skate” recently took place in the Arena Nürnberger Versicherung.
The main purpose of the camp was to give children from different backgrounds between the ages of four and seven their first encounters with ice skating and to introduce them to the sport of ice hockey.
The camp was organized and carried out by EHC Nürnberg 1980 eV in collaboration with the Deutscher Eishockey-Bund (DEB). The club also received support from the “Integration through Sport” program in the Bavarian State Sports Association (BLSV).
Learning to skate and playing on and off the ice were the focus of the event. Thanks to the colorful and wide-ranging offering, every child was able to gain their first experience in the sport. A large number of trainers from EHC Nuremberg, as well as the guest trainer Artur Iskra from Russia, supported the youngest children during the two-day camp and ensured optimal support.
The goal is to get the children excited about the sport of ice hockey and thus ensure the young talent work of the EHC Nürnberg 1980 eV.
