The Deutscher Eishockey-Bund (DEB) now offers all trainers a special service: A new teaching and learning platform is intended to promote the exchange of knowledge and networking among all trainers in the future.
Since the beginning of the year, trainers who are in a B or C training course have been able to continue their training and deepen their knowledge through the “Blended Learning” modules created during the course. In addition, the “Knowledge Platform” now offers numerous DEB-Content on training and education topics, such as skating technique or aesthetics. But in the end, it's not just them who are responsible for expanding the platform DEB but also the trainers can actively participate. Under the “Exercise of the Week” they can all upload their own exercises and thus enliven the platform. This ensures a constant exchange of knowledge between the association and the trainers.
In the “Lida Literature Database”, trainers can search for studies in all scientifically relevant journals in the world by entering search topics. This allows the trainers to get a good overview of what is already known in science on certain topics and questions. The results can ultimately also contribute to the evaluation of your own training work.
The new teaching and learning platform can be accessed via the following link: http://bit.ly/DEB-Wissensplattform.
The access data for the platform has already been sent to all club managers and trainers. If you have any questions about this, you can contact the national trainer for science and training, Karl Schwarzenbrunner, via email at any time karl.schwarzenbrunner@deb-online.de .
Stefan Schaidnagel, DEB-Sports Director: "The DEBplatform offers everyone interested in ice hockey and everyone involved in the sport a wide range of opportunities for further training in the field of ice hockey. The networking of sport-specific knowledge with interdisciplinary know-how means absolute added value. We have also created an opportunity for our national coaches to analyze and scout players in the performance area effectively and in keeping with today's times. We as DEB Overall, we have taken another professional step. This will further improve the connection to our regional associations and bring the exchange to a new level.”
Karl Schwarzenbrunner, national trainer for science and training: “The new teaching and learning platform is the next step in our trainer development. It promotes the transfer of knowledge between DEB and the trainers and offers the opportunity to access current scientific studies on relevant topics at any time. We look forward to a lively exchange with the trainers and are convinced that the platform can sustainably improve training work.”
