Oberliga playoffs: Tilburg with another sweep / U20 relegation: Regensburg manages to qualify / U17 relegation: Deggendorf and Straubing tied on points
In the quarterfinals of the Oberliga playoffs The Tilburg Trappers continue to march forward and move into the semi-finals with a sweep against the Eisbären Regensburg. In the other three games, however, things are quite even. Deggendorfer SC leads in the series against ESC Wohnbau Moskitos Essen with 2:1, the Hannover Scorpions also lead against them with 2:1 Starbulls Rosenheim and the Selber Wölfe are one win ahead against the Icefighters Leipzig. The next games take place this evening. Hannover and Selb could advance to the semifinals with a win on home ice, while Deggendorf would have to score points away in Essen.
The U20 Relegation I Group B EV Regensburg was able to qualify for the U6 Division I of the 3/7 season at the last minute with two wins on home ice against Iserlohn (1:20) and Krefelder EV (2018:19). In the Group A he secured himself EV Landshut took second place in the table with a 7-0 win in front of 532 spectators and is therefore just like Regensburg, the leader of Group A, EC Bad Tölz and leader of Group B, Augsburger EV, for the U20 Division I of the 2018/19 season qualified.
The U20 Relegation II SC Riessersee and EV Füssen were able to maintain the top two places despite one defeat and one win each at the weekend. The SCR won on Saturday with 3:2 after extra time against ES Weißwasser, but lost to EV Füssen with 6:7 on Sunday, while Füssen lost clearly 1:6 the day before ESV Kaufbeuren lost.
The U17 Relegation II South Deggendorf (7:2) and Straubing (15:0) were both able to successfully assert themselves against Stuttgarter EC at the weekend and were therefore tied for first and second place, with Straubing remaining at the top due to the better goal difference.
