Oberliga: Playoffs start on March 09.03th. / Waldkraiburg and Memmingen end the quarter-final series of the qualifying playoffs unbeaten with 4-0/ DNL: Semi-finals start next Wednesday / DNL2: Weißwasser with a clear lead in the table / Student Bundesliga: Even duels in the championship round / Women's Bundesliga: Leader Memmingen with 40 goals German champions early at the weekend
In the Oberliga Nord the first two places remain unchanged. Tilburg was able to finish the main round safely in first place with a 2:3 defeat in extra time against the Indians from Hanover and a 3:1 victory against second-placed Halle. The Bulls from Halle won their second game of the weekend against the Füchse from Duisburg 3:2. The Moskitos from Essen squandered their better position with defeats against their direct competitors Hannover Scorpions (2:5) and the Icefighters Leipzig (3:7) and thus ended up in fifth place, level on points with the sixth-placed Duisburg team. Leipzig and the Hannover Scorpions are also level on points and only one point in goal difference puts Leipzig in third place and Hannover in fourth place. The Hannover Indians are at the bottom of the championship round in the Oberliga Nord.
The last game weekend was similarly exciting Oberliga SüdThere, the Deggendorfer SC beat the Wolves from Selb 4:3 and secured first place in the southern round. The fact that the Deggendorfers then lost clearly 1:7 against Rosenheim did not hurt them, but helped the Rosenheimers, who had lost 2:5 against Sonthofen two days earlier, to grab second place in the table ahead of Selb. The Wolves lost 4:5 after a penalty shootout against Regensburg. In the qualification playoffs, the Waldkraiburger Löwen and the ECDC Memmingen finished the "best-of-seven" series undefeated with 4:0. In the other series, Lindau leads 3:1 against Landsberg and Höchstadt 3:1 against the Erding Gladiators.

The DNL Red will continue to be led by the Adler from Mannheim. The Eisbären Juniors had to admit defeat once with 2:3 and once with 0:3. The Kölner Haie could in the Rhenish derby Düsseldorfer EG defeated 5-1, but lost the second game 3-4 after extra time. In the Bavarian local duel, EC Bad Tölz was left behind and could not get any points against Augsburger EV after defeats of 4:8 and 3:4. In the basement duel, Krefelder EV defeated Landshuter EV 4:2 and 3:1.

In the DNL Blue The regular season ended this weekend. While the first-placed EV Regensburg lost 5:3 in extra time after a 3:4 against Dresden in the second leg, the second-placed Starbulls from Rosenheim suffered a 4:6 defeat against Ingolstadt. Iserlohn got a full six points from two games with 6:4 and 4:1 against Füssen and Schwenningen defeated them twice ESV Kaufbeuren with 4:1 and 4:2.
Definite leader of the table DNL2 North is the ES Weißwasser. After 9:3 and 7:3 successes against the Grizzlys from Wolfsburg, the league leaders are leaving the season with a total of only six defeats. The Red Devils Bad Nauheim scored a total of 17 goals (11:5 and 6:3) in the victories against the Frankfurter Löwen. After a weekend with six points for ESV Chemnitz (2:1 and 5:3 against ECC Preussen Berlin), Bad Nauheim and ESV Chemnitz are tied with 83 points, with Chemnitz coming in third due to the worse goal difference.
The DNL2 South only had four matches on the last regular matchday. The Mannheim ERC defeated the EC Peiting with 5:2 and 8:4, while Deggendorfer SC lost the first game 1:5 and then beat the Steelers from Bietigheim 6:2 in the second round.
Next weekend the teams will go into the qualifying rounds for the corresponding Divisions I, II and III of the 2018/19 season. As soon as the game times are finalized we will publish the game schedule.
The championship round of the Student Bundesliga showed four even games this weekend. While the Adler Mannheim first with 6:3 against the Eisbären Juniors Berlin were able to score, the capital team won the second leg 3-2 against the Adler. There was also a division of points in the Kaufbeuren duel against Düsseldorf. The Kaufbeuren team won the first leg 9:2 and then lost to Düsseldorf in the second leg in a penalty shootout 4:5. The North qualifying round ended with two wins for ETC Crimmitschau against Iserlohn (both 2:1), and one defeat for ESC Dresden against ES Weißwasser with 0:5 and a win ESC Dresden in the second leg also 5-0.
There was a rain of goals with a championship title on top Women's Bundesliga. The team from Memmingen won against bottom team SC Langenhagen with 20:2 and 20:0. The team is therefore already champions of the women's Bundesliga in the 2017/18 season. In the other matches, second-placed ESC Planegg-Würmtal won 5:4 and 6:2 against them Düsseldorfer EG and ERC Ingolstadt twice against the Bergkamen Bears with 6:1 and 8:0. The Mad Dogs from Mannheim were able to secure their sixth place in the table against their pursuers with a 4:3 win in extra time and a 6:1 win Berlin defend.
