The women's national team lost to Russia 5:1 (3:0; 2:1; 0:0) in the third game of the 1-nation tournament in Rauma (Finland).
1.45 minutes had been played and the Russians were one point ahead. According to video evidence, the goal was scored by Alevtina Shataryova. She scored out of feeling while Jenny Harss in the German team's goal was spectacularly able to stop the target just behind the line.
