Under the leadership of the head coach for club and youth support Ernst Höfner and the U16 national coach Stefan Mayer, particular emphasis will be placed on the three aspects of hand-eye coordination, skating and understanding of the game. Höfner and Mayer are supported by the six-person coaching team consisting of Norbert Weber, Robert Schroepfer, Roland Urban, Sigfried Harrer, Markus Eberl and Morgan Svensson. Simon Rainer (athletics coach), Richard Scholl (physiotherapist) as well as Alfred Stockbauer, Romar Merkel and Marc Dannbeck (all coaches) will also be in Füssen to train the DEB-Young talent care.
Höfner sees the camp as an opportunity for all players: “Our goal is to find the best young talented players in Germany. We check whether the technical and tactical skills are at an age-appropriate level.”
