U18 wins tournament
The U18 national team also wins the third game in a row on home ice in Füssen with 3:2 (0:1; 2:0; 1:1) against Denmark and thereby secures victory in the tournament.

Women defeat Czech Republic
The women's national team won the last game of the 4-nation tournament in Dmitrov/Russia 1-0 (0-0; 0-0; 0-0; 1-0) after extra time against the Czech Republic. This proves that DEB-Selection around Benjamin Hinterstocker ended up third in the tournament.

U20 has to admit defeat to strong Norwegians
The U20 national team lost to Norway 4:2 (4; 1.2:1; 0:0) in the second game of the 2-nation tournament in Monthey/Switzerland. In the last tournament game she scores DEB-Selection tomorrow at 11 a.m. on Slovakia.
Christian Kunast, U20 national coach: “Norway had a very good outnumbered game today and our outnumbered game didn’t work despite many chances. Overall, the Norwegians' victory was okay. We have to try to be more consistent over 6½ minutes.”

U16 women lose to Czech Republic by one goal
The German U16 women's national team had to narrowly admit defeat to hosts the Czech Republic 4:3 (2:0; 1:0; 1:3) in the first of two tests in Lovosice.
Nine players made their debut today and after a nervous start, the Czechs were already 2-0 up after just three minutes. It was thanks to the strong goalkeeper Lilly Uhrmann that no further goals were conceded.
In the middle section the German team improved and was able to create better chances. However, the only goal of the third was scored by the opposing team in the 38th minute.
In the final section, the U16 girls' efforts were rewarded. Vivien Wallner scored in the 47th minute to make it 1:3. Seven minutes before the end, the hosts scored their fourth goal with a double majority, but the German double strike in the 58th minute made the game even more exciting. First, a shot from Leonie Willeitner was deflected unstoppably into the goal, then Annabella Sterzik converted a solo effort.
Trainer Florian Neumayer: "We can be very satisfied with both the result and the performance in the second and third periods. The many new players quickly got over their nervousness and improved more and more as the game progressed."
Both teams will meet again tomorrow at 12:00 p.m.
U17 loses to hosts Slovakia
The U17 national team was beaten by hosts Slovakia 4:2 (5:1; 1:1; 2:0) in the last game of the 2-nation tournament and ended up in third place in the table behind Slovakia and France.
U17 national coach Uli Liebsch: “Unfortunately today we couldn’t match the performance of the first two games. We ultimately lacked physical and mental freshness against strong Slovakians.”

U18 women remains without a point
The German U18 women's national team had to admit defeat at the end of the 4-nation tournament in Stupino/RUS with 1:6 (1:1; Finland.
The German team was exposed to a lot of pressure from the Finnish team right from the start, who had good chances to take the lead. In the fifth minute of the game, the Finns took the 1-0 lead. Kiira Yrjanen was able to move towards the goal undisturbed from the outside and gave Pfeifer no chance. Tommy Kettner took his time-out to gather his team. Then a strange scene in the eighth minute of the game. A Finnish defender wanted to run with the puck in front of her own goal, lost the puck, which bounced off the post and landed in the Finnish goal to make it 1-1. Christina Schwamborn was the last German player to have contact with the puck and was credited with the goal. In the middle third, Finland took the lead 2-1 with a power play goal.
Until ten minutes before the end of the game the game was even and the DEB-Women were able to develop promising opportunities. Until Finland was able to increase the advantage to 49:3 in the 1th minute of the game. Even after that, it remained a Finnish attack, the German defense around Pfeifer had their hands full, but did excellent defensive work. A precision shot from Kiia Nuosiainen hit the inside post, which bounced from there into the German goal to make it 1:4, bringing the preliminary decision in favor of Finland. Ida Kuoppala finished the game with 1:5 in the 57th minute and 1:6 in the 60th minute.
Tommy Kettner, U18 women's national coach: “Against a strong Finnish team, we were only able to keep up for two thirds today. At this level we can't afford many penalty times. The players now have to use the remaining time until the World Cup to work on their individual deficits.”
Franziska Busch, assistant coach: “Overall, this tournament was a good opportunity to see where we stand compared to other nations, against whom we will sometimes have to compete during the World Cup in January.”
