To implement its POWERPLAY 26 concept, the Deutscher Eishockey-Bund (Deutsche Eishockey-Bund eV (DEB) is adopting a new, two-pillar personnel concept for sports and administration and has a new Secretary General in Michael Grosz. The 28-year-old is taking over from Michael Pfuhl, who will assume the position of Technical Director, and will work closely with Sports Director Stefan Schaidnagel.
Grosz has a Master of Business Administration and has worked at the for the past five years DEB GmbH, the organizing committee for the 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships in Cologne and Paris, successfully as manager for administration and finance and assistant to the management. He will take up the office of Secretary General from October 2017. His areas of responsibility include administration, finance and controlling. Michael Pfuhl will take over the position of Technical Director with immediate effect and, in addition to providing technical support to the DEB-Sports Director Stefan Schaidnagel will also be the interface to the institutional bodies "Deutsche Sporthilfe" and "Deutsche Bundeswehr" in the area of international match traffic and action planning for the national teams.
