Last week, under the motto “Diversity”, the Red Devils Bad Nauheim (Ice Hockey Young Talent eV) organized a trial training session for children and young people who come to Bad Nauheim from abroad.
By participating in the Intercultural Week in the Wetterau district for the first time, the Red Devils not only made a clear statement for versatility, but also gave 57 children and young people from Syria, Bulgaria, the Balkan countries, Somalia, Turkey and Sweden an insight into the fastest team sport in the world World.

The Red Devils had already held a trial training session the day before. The children, many of whom were skating on the ice for the first time, clearly had fun letting off steam. They were supervised by coaches Daniel Heinrizi, Alexander Baum, Harald "Harry" Lange and Martin Flemming, all of whom have many years of experience in young talent training.
It is particularly pleasing to hear that several children have already registered for club training following the event. “It was an all-round successful event,” reports the sporting director from Bad Nauheim, Daniel Heinrizi. “Thanks to the support of all the helpers involved and the collaboration with the International Federation as the provider of social migration work and the Wetteraukreis with the Youth and Social Affairs Department, we were able to implement this project so well.” When asked how much time you have for planning The event requires, Heinrizi answers: “About two or three months. In addition to ice time, rental equipment still needs to be obtained and a certain amount of man power is crucial.”
