DEB-Team defeats Team Switzerland “Red” / Mayer: “I’m proud of the courageous and playfully self-confident performance” / Dubé scores twice
The U16 national team defeated the Swiss national team “Red” 7:3 (2:0; 2:2; 3:1) and celebrated their second victory in the second game at the 3-nation tournament in Kitzbühel (Austria). Just like yesterday, all but one of the goals today were scored by different shooters.
Despite a stronger opponent, U16 national coach Stefan Mayer saw a significant improvement in his team's performance over the entire distance today and was all the more pleased with the performance of the German boys: "I liked our courageous offensive style of play. Our great commitment was striking. I am proud of the confident and strong performance of our U16s."
The best player from the German team was Samuel Dubé.
