The German Basketball Association, the Deutscher Eishockey-Bund, the German Football Association, the German Handball Association and the German Volleyball Association joined forces in the Teammsport Germany initiative in March 2017. In this way, the associations pool their interests and appear with one voice. Since July 2017st, 1, this voice has been Anett Sattler. The former SPORTXNUMX presenter, who won the German Sports Journalist Award this year Best sports presenter was awarded, is now lending its voice to the new association of Germany's largest team sports associations. Among other things, she will tackle core topics such as the promotion of competitive sports, regulations for the promotion of talent trained in Germany, the national and international situation of media rights, advertising rights and marketing, service offerings and international events.
Sattler herself says of her new area of work: "I am very much looking forward to my new tasks for Teamsport Deutschland. Making the five strong team sports even stronger in the future with a common voice is a great challenge that I am happy to take on."
In her first week at work, the 34-year-old has now moved from her office Berlin made their way through Germany to visit the individual associations for the first exchange of information.
At the Deutscher Eishockey-Bund (DEB) there was great joy about Sattler's visit: “We believe in the synergy concept of team sports in Germany and the power behind it,” said DEB-President Franz Reindl. “It will be interesting to see what Ms. Sattler brings to the table at the associations’ next joint meeting in September. We wish you much success and assure you of our support.”
