Buy and sell tickets. From Fan zu Fan – legal, convenient, safe and at regular prices
On April 5, 2017, exactly one month before the first face-off of the 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship (May 5 – 21), the official resale platform “2017 IIHF WM Ticket Exchange” will go online. Owners of package, day and single tickets can resell them there if they are unable to attend games. Fan zu Fan – legal, convenient, secure and at regular prices plus a processing fee.
Together with the official ticketing partner CTS EVENTIM, this service is being offered for the first time ever at an IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship. The resale platform was developed based on the established EVENTIM technology “fanSALE” and is available via the official World Championship website www.iihfworlds2017.com can be accessed via the “Tickets” button.
From the very beginning, the Organizing Committee of the 2017 IIHF World Championship always included the option of offering a potentially unusable ticket for resale on an official platform. The "2017 IIHF Ticket Exchange" also offers the opportunity to get hold of tickets that are already sold out in the actual presale. With an integrated courier service, tickets are sent from one day to the next, door to door.
"Protected from dubious offers"
"Anyone who purchases a ticket from the '2017 IIHF World Championship Ticket Exchange' in the future will receive a ticket that has been checked for authenticity using the EVENTIM Ticket Check," explains World Championship Secretary General Henner Ziegfeld, making it clear: "Customers of this new, official 2017 IIHF World Championship resale platform are thus protected from dubious offers. However, we can only strongly warn against purchasing tickets from unauthorized Internet providers. The authenticity of tickets traded there cannot be guaranteed, and access to the arenas cannot be guaranteed. We also keep receiving inquiries from people who have supposedly purchased tickets - usually at an overpriced price - on this gray market, paid for them but never received them, but we can only categorically pass on that. Commercial resale is also prohibited under the general terms and conditions (GTCs) of the official ticket sales and is rigorously prosecuted."
