At the weekend, girls played against each other in the Globals Girls Game, launched by the IIHF to promote women's ice hockey worldwide. In Germany, girls between the ages of six and 13 met in Bad Kissingen and played against each other in two teams. Around 22 girls took part in this event under the patronage of former national player and current women's representative Franziska Busch. In an exciting game, the young talents fought for every puck and kept the game even until the end. Two minutes before the end of the game, however, the blue team was able to prevail and score the winning goal 7:6.
Franziska Busch: “It was really a very nice and successful event. A special thank you goes to those responsible at GirlsEishockey.de for their efforts and the entire organization.”
