In the championship round Oberliga Nord Loses leader Herne twice, on Friday the derby against Essen was lost 4:5 and on Sunday the game against MEC Halle ended 1:3. In the DNL Group Red, the top team from Cologne was able to consolidate first place with two wins against Landshut. Bad Tölz and Berlin shared the points and won on Saturday Berlin and Sunday Bad Tölz secured the extra point in overtime. Victory and defeat also alternated in Düsseldorf against Mannheim. On Saturday Düsseldorf came off the ice as winners and on Sunday the young eagles from Mannheim.
