The German U18 women's national team won 7-0 (3-0/1-0/3-0) against Austria in the penultimate World Cup game. The German U18 women started the game with a lot of self-confidence and were able to create chances right from the start. Hanna Amort gave the German colors a 11-1 lead in the 0th minute of the game when she showed patience while standing free in front of the goal and beat the Austrian goalkeeper. Just two minutes later, Franziska Klinger made it 2-0. 18 seconds before the end, Franziska Brendel also took advantage of a rebound in front of the goal and scored her first international goal to make the score 3-0 at halftime.
The German team also kept the pace high in the second third. It was Franziska Brendel who, after a shot from the blue line, switched fastest, drove around the Austrian goal and scored her second goal to make it 4-0.
Four minutes had been played in the last half when Tabea Botthof shot the ball from the blue line into the Austrian goal to make it 5-0. Just three minutes later, Lilli Welcke increased the score to 6-0. Luisa Kaiser put the final point with a 7-0 score when she was outnumbered just under ten minutes before the end.
