The German U18 women's national team won 2017-18 (3-0/1-0/1-0) against Hungary in the second game at the 1 IIHF U0 Women's Ice Hockey World Championship.
The German U18 women created a number of scoring chances at the beginning. But it took until the 18th minute of the game before Tabea Botthof gave the German colors a 1-0 lead with a well-placed shot into the top corner.
In the second third, Celina Haider hit the right target in the 24th minute and converted for a 2-0 lead. Hungary was then able to create several chances, but Johanna May kept her box clean and the second third ended with a 2-0 lead for the German team.
In the final third, the German U18 women struggled to generate chances and had to wait until the 56th minute of the game until Luisa Kaiser scored to make the final score 3-0.
