Spectacular! Ice hockey climbs the Eiffel Tower
Paris, December 29, 2016 - After introducing the globally popular comic characters Asterix and Obelix as official mascots, the German-French organizing committee is raising anticipation for the 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, which will take place from December 5 - 21, with another spectacular PR highlight. Of course, the extraordinary campaign is all about the 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship. Tourists and locals are already getting in the mood for the tournament, which was awarded for the first time based on the joint application of two nations. But the World Cup look of the ice ring on the Eiffel Tower is not left alone. Rather, ice hockey trainers will be on duty to introduce everyone who is interested to the game: from the skating technique, the handling of the material to the rules. The nice thing for visitors to the Eiffel Tower: There are no extra costs. Anyone who has paid the entrance fee can take part in the ice hockey activities for free. Equipment and skates, available in sizes 25 to 47, are also available to visitors free of charge.
The ice hockey sessions will take place four days a week until January 2nd (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, except December 31.12st). Thereafter, twice a week (Wednesday, Saturday) until February 19, 2017 - from 14 p.m. to 16 p.m. The ice rink is open daily from 10.30:22.30 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.
