U18 women: opening defeat against Sweden
The German U18 women's national team won their opening game at the 4-nation tournament in Dmitrov/Russia with 0:3 (0:2/0:1/0:0) against Sweden. The next game takes place today at 17.00 p.m. against hosts Russia.

As the playing time increased, we were able to improve and create chances to score, which unfortunately weren't compelling enough. For tomorrow it is now important to clear our heads and attack again.”

Women are subject to confederation
The German women's national team also narrowly lost the second game in this year's Halloween Cup against their neighbors from Switzerland 0:2 (0:0/0:1/0:1). She fought until the end DEB-Selection, but unlike the Swiss they were unable to take advantage of their chances to score.
Women's national coach Benjamin Hinterstocker: “The team built on yesterday’s performance and played extremely disciplined today. Compared to the game against Russia, our defensive behavior was extremely good. But if you don't score goals, you can't win a game."
After Russia won 3-1 against the Czech Republic in the afternoon game, there will be a game for tournament victory between Russia and Switzerland today in Füssen at 13.00 p.m., while Germany and the Czech Republic will play for third place in Memmingen at 17.00 p.m.

U20 national team defeats Switzerland
The U20 national team won 3-0 (0-0; 2-0; 1-0) against Switzerland in Lillehammer, Norway. The next game takes place today at 13.00 p.m. against Slovakia.

U18 national team: defeat against Belarus
Despite a good performance in Gomel, Belarus, the U18 national team lost 2016:2 (4:1; 1:1; 2:0) to the hosts in the 1 Druzhba Cup. The game against World Cup opponents Denmark is today at 11.30 a.m.
Team Manager Andre Dietzsch: “The result doesn't fully reflect our performance today, we had good chances and played really well at times, but in the end the technical class of the Belarusians prevailed. We have to minimize our mistakes and play consistently over 60 minutes.”

The U17 national team won the 4-nation tournament in Zuchwil (Switzerland) 6:5 (1:1; 0:3; 4:1; 1:0) after extra time against the U18 team from France. The last game of the tournament is today at 10.00 a.m. against Slovakia.
