U20 tests new assistant coach against EHC Freiburg / Söderholm

Künast has made slight changes to the team in some positions compared to the last test. Mirko Pantkowski joins the squad in goal, while Denis Pfaffengut from Kaufbeuren is there in defense. Striker Jakob Mayenschein will be able to make his comeback after recovering from his cruciate ligament tear. A total of two goalkeepers, eight defenders and thirteen strikers are nominated.

With Toni Söderholm, Künast has found a new assistant coach until the end of the season. The 38-year-old native of Finland works at EHC Red Bull München in the development area with young players. Künast: “I am pleased to have found a suitable trainer in Toni. As a former professional ice hockey player with great international experience and trained defender, Toni will mainly take care of the defense for us in the U20.”

This task fits perfectly with my work as a development coach at EHC Red Bull MünchenI know Christian very well now and am convinced that we complement each other perfectly.
