41 girls on the ice / Hinterstocker: “Girls made a good impression”
This year, a voluntary day-long screening for the U15 women's national team took place in Unna. A total of 41 girls, including ten goalkeepers, took part in the three hours of ice training. The ice training was led by women's national coach Benjamin Hinterstocker and U18 women's national coach Tommy Kettner with the support of Kai Erlenhardt, goalkeeper Jule Flötgen and player Alena Hahn (both EC Bergkamen).
Hinterstocker was satisfied after the screening: “The offer of voluntary day screening was very well received and the girls made a good impression. A big thank you to Andreas Hahn for his support.” The women’s chairman of Nordrhein-Westfalen (NRW) together with the Deutscher Eishockey-Bund (Deutscher Eishockey-Bund eV (DEB), the DEL, the DEL2 and the upper league teams ensured that the invitation to the viewing was spread to all NRW clubs if possible.
