Oberliga-South: Höchstadt scores twice / Oberliga-Nord: Duisburg gets going / DNL: Young Eagles with first defeat / Women's Bundesliga: Planegg defeats Memmingen
The Oberliga Süd started the new season on Friday and had a cracker ready to kick off with the game between EV Regensburg and VER Selber Wölfe. Selber had the better end, winning the game 3:2 after overtime. There was also excitement about the three new teams. The Alligators from Höchstadt got off to the best start, having already scored six points after the first weekend and finding themselves in second place in the table behind Deggendorf.

In the Oberliga Nord the Crocodiles had to leave Hamburg suffered their first defeat (9:2) in Essen on Friday evening. The Foxes from Duisburg, on the other hand, are slowly getting going and have taken the lead in the table after two wins (1:3 in Halle, 4:2 against Erfurt). FASS still has zero points Berlin and the Rostock Piranhas at the bottom of the table.

In the DNL Lots of goals were scored at the weekend. DEG won twice against Iserlohn and was able to celebrate a real goal festival on Sunday. In the end it was 13:6 in the ice stadium on Brehmstrasse. The young eagles from Mannheim suffered their first defeat at the weekend, but are still at the top of the table. The games in Krefeld ended 3:5 and 5:0. The game weekend also had Bavarian derbies on the program, that's what they were all about ESV Kaufbeuren and the EV Landshut twice (2:3 after extra time and 0:5), on Sunday the Starbulls Rosenheim the EC Bad Tölz (3:1).

In the DNL2 EV Füssen (South Group) remains undefeated at the top of the table, while Heilbronner EC remains at the bottom. In the North group, EC Kassel leads the field.

Also in the Women's Bundesliga was played on the weekend. EC Bergkamen won the OSC in two games Berlin (3:2 after extra time and 6:1) and remains undefeated in first place in the table. The ERC Ingolstadt Panthers had a fairly easy start to the season and easily won the first two Bundesliga games against the Lady Scorpions from Hanover (13:0 and 8:0). On Sunday the top game was between the runner-up ESC Planegg and the reigning champion ECDC Memmingen. After a fairly even game, Planegg ultimately prevailed 4-2 against the Allgäu team.

National player Daniel Pietta celebrated its 600th DEL game on Friday evening in Ingolstadt. Congratulations to the Krefeld center forward!
