Package sales in the final spurt – official resale platform from spring 2017
Sales of ticket packages for the 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships in Cologne and Paris are entering their final spurt. The schedule of the tournament, which will take place from May 5th to May 21st next year, will be published shortly. Sales of day tickets will begin shortly afterwards. The packages that are currently on sale will generally remain on offer. However, since the first games are expected to sell out after the start of the day tickets, e.g. B. games of the German team or the final weekend, continuous availability can no longer be guaranteed.
“We are very positively surprised by the continued great response to the package offers. Since sales began, there has been remarkable demand every day, even most recently during the European Football Championships and now in the ice hockey-free summer period. The German ice hockeyFans are obviously excited for the home World Championships in May 2017,” says Henner Ziegfeld, General Secretary of the 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships.
So if you want to secure a price advantage of up to 20% compared to later individual tickets and consistent seats for the entire preliminary round, all games in Cologne or Paris or the games in the final round as part of a complete package, you should take action now.
Very important: The cards included in the packages are issued individually and are not personalized. Anyone who may not be able to use a ticket from a package has the option of passing it on - or legally offering it for resale, as an official resale platform will go online from next spring, after advance ticket sales for individual games have begun.
34 matches will be played in Cologne, including the preliminary round matches in Group A (Russia, USA, Sweden, Slovakia, Germany, Latvia, Denmark, Italy), two quarter-finals, two semi-finals, the bronze medal match and the final. 30 matches will be played in Paris, including the matches in Group B (Canada, Finland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Belarus, Norway, France, Slovenia) and two quarter-finals.
The venue package for all 34 games in Cologne is available from €729. The “Group Package” for the preliminary round games is available for Cologne from €426. The final round package for Cologne, consisting of two quarter-finals and two semi-finals, the game for third place and the final, from €351. The final weekend package (two semi-finals, third place game, final) is available from €267.
