28 players invited / Kettner: “Back to the starting level as quickly as possible”
The U18 women's national team will meet at the start of the season from July 20th to 24.07.2016th, 18 at the Federal Training Center (BLZ) in Füssen. Under the direction of U28 national coach Tommy Kettner and assistant coach Tina Evers, a total of 15 players will take part in the course (four goalkeepers, nine defenders and XNUMX strikers).
During the four-day course, the players complete eight training sessions on the ice and listen to lectures from Eckhard Schindler (doping officer of the DEB) and Axel Kuhlen (career advisor for the OSP Bayern).
Kettner sees the course as good preparation for the upcoming season: "We have a long and difficult season ahead of us this year and now we want to see what level the players are at. We were last on the ice together in April and will now try to get back to our starting level as quickly as possible."
