From July 13th to 14.07.2016th, XNUMX, a national coaches' meeting was scheduled for the first time at the Federal Performance Center (BLZ) in Füssen. Under the leadership of Stefan Schaidnagel (national coach for science and training), Marco Sturm (national coach) and Christian Künast (BundesYoung Talent Coach), all national coaches had a professional exchange of sports knowledge.
In addition to the men mentioned above, the new U18 duo Steffen Ziesche and Frank Fischöder as well as U16 national coach Uli Liebsch and his new assistant Thomas Schädler were also present. As U18 women's national coach and assistant coach of the women's national team, Tommy Kettner represented the women's department and Jochen Molling represented the U17. Johannes Egelseer was present as the person responsible for athletics and diagnostics.
The core of the meeting was joint preparation for the upcoming 2016/17 international season. In this context, the foundation stone was laid for new uniform structures in the area of work with specialists such as competence teams, athletics, sports psychology or goalkeeper trainers. In addition, uniform basic training in the various areas was defined in more detail and uniform content and templates were developed together.
The national coach for science and training, Stefan Schaidnagel, was visibly satisfied after the meeting: "As part of our reorientation, it was essential to hold this meeting and together we were able to work out medium-term milestones for the sporting objectives of the individual U and A teams."
This meeting will take place twice a year in the future. The next date is planned for the turn of the year.
