U18 national team: Final World Cup squad is announced

Things are getting serious: The final line-up of the U18 national team for the 2016 IIHF U18 Ice Hockey World Championship Div.I in Minsk/Belarus (April 09th ​​- 15th) has been determined. The coaching team of Rick Böhm and Thomas Schädler has appointed three goalkeepers, eight defenders and twelve strikers to the squad.

After the two successful preparation games against direct World Cup opponents Austria (5:2) and Switzerland (2:1), the DEB-Selection during the tournament on Norway (April 09th ​​/ 14.30:10 p.m.), Austria (April 11.00th / 12:11.00 a.m.), Kazakhstan (April 13th / 14.30:15 a.m.), France (April 18.00th / XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.) and Belarus (April XNUMXth / XNUMX p.m.).

All players have gained experience at the top international level, know the pace and know what to expect. The standard in Division I is high and ultimately it will come down to the little things.”
