DEG Eishockey eV with the first “Kids on Ice Day” on February 27th in the ice stadium on Brehmstrasse.
A trial day is planned for children and their parents to get to know the sport of ice hockey and get excited about it. The kids are looked after throughout the day by trained young talent trainers, supported by numerous DEG professionals and (EX) national players such as Daniel Kreutzer and Bernhard Ebner.
This day is part of the “Five Star Concept” developed by the Deutscher Eishockey-Bund (DEB) of the German Ice Hockey League (DEL), a further step to inspire more young athletes for the sport of ice hockey. The concept serves to optimize the work of the young talent organizations in the long term and thus create a long-term performance buildup in order to develop more and better trained players.
Children between the ages of four and eight are allowed to register for the “Kids on Ice Day”. No skills or equipment are required, all equipment is provided. You can find all further information here
