Lanzl only German goalscorer / Hinterstocker: “The result was too high in the end”
The women's national team lost 1:5 (0:0; 1:2; 0:3) to Russia in the last of three games in Füssen.
The team led by women's national coach Benjamin Hinterstocker started the third game in three days powerfully and with commitment. It was Andrea Lanzl who scored the first goal of the game in favor of the team DEB-Selection marked and rewarded their team's performance. But just a few minutes later, the guests, also in the majority, were able to equalize and even take the lead with another goal before the final period. The German team threw everything forward in the final third and created a few good chances. But Russia acted more consistently and ultimately won the game 1:5.
Benjamin Hinterstocker, coach of the women's national team: "The result does not reflect the course of the game today. We worked well but ultimately simply did not score enough goals, that is a fact and we have to work on that."
